A full range powered speaker cabinet with inbuilt high powered LED lights and monitor speaker.
It can be difficult for an artist or band starting out to choose the best PA system for their needs. Add to this stage monitors and lighting and it becomes a real challenge.
For decades Studiomaster have been providing performers the tools they need to give their best performance and following that philosophy now introduce the first PA cabinet to integrate lighting and a monitoring system.
The angled cabinet has a recessed slot on one side that contains six high-power LEDs with dispersion lenses. An inbuilt controller has 13 programs including seven static colours, fade to colour change and sound to colour change. Brightness and speed are also adjustable.
They are supplied as pairs so the LEDs and monitors are angled in ward to the performers. When the cabinets are placed on speaker stands or poles, the vertical LED strips project a colour wash evenly across the stage.
The 4” 50 Watt monitor speaker is conveniently positioned at ear height to provide directional monitoring to the performers without the need for excessive volume. It derives its signal either from the main cabinet or from any external source such as an auxiliary output on a mixing console.
The PA section features a 250W amplifier, two channel mixer with 3 band EQ. The one inch throat 60x90 degree high frequency driver is paired to a heavy duty bass unit.
Starlight is the next logical step in reducing weight and complexity in a PA system.
