The TS112W and TS115W bring you all the premium features you've come to expect from Alto Professional: massive wattage, efficient Class D amplification and cutting-edge design. Add to all of this: unprecedented wireless connectivity. Now, you can harness that same massive wattage and clean, crystal clear sound using your iPad, iPhone or other Bluetooth-compatible device such as a laptop computer.
Pro with a plus The TS112W and TS115W are professional loudspeakers, equipped with all the connections you need to hook up using traditional cables. Whether you use them in a permanent sound reinforcement installation or as portable PAs, you'll have versatile loudspeaker that can handle every gig, and blast music from your phone at the after party. The TS112W and TS115W provide exceptionally clean, transparent sound from wired or wireless sources.
Hear crystal clear The drivers in the Truesonic TS115W are designed to make sure that virtually no energy is wasted. That translates to more of the power from the amplifier actually working to generate sound rather than heat, giving the speaker better real world performance than other speakers with comparable published specifications. The Truesonic TS115W offers a 15" LF driver (2" voice coil) and a 1" HF neodymium driver .
Modern amplifier design Every active Truesonic speaker benefits from the use of a Class D amplifier integrated into the cabinet. Class D amps are generally lighter than Class A and AB amplifier designs, and offer more than enough power to provide your performance with plenty of punch. The Truesonic TS115W delivers with 800 Watts of power and offers a balanced combo jack (XLR/TRS) input with level control. Class D amplifiers are also highly efficient and run cooler than other kinds of amps so the amp doesn't have to work as hard to deliver your mix.
Hang 'em High Optimal speaker placement can be challenging, especially if your speakers don't have what it takes to go anywhere. Whether you need to fly your speakers, pole mount or use them as floor monitors, Truesonic speakers are ready for you. All Truesonic speakers feature standard 36mm pole mounting insets on the bottom. If you need to fly them, it's no problem. The 10" Truesonic models come from the factory with four M10 rigging points, the 12" models come with five. Our 15" models come standard with six M10 rigging points. All these options make the Truesonic one remarkably venue-friendly speaker. Use them anywhere you need them.
Just what you need Whether you're performing at a coffee house, wedding, house of worship or other small to medium-sized venue, the Truesonic TS115W is your best choice. For example, it's easy to get your Truesonic speakers to the gig thanks to their carrying handles and lightweight design. Once you're there you won't need to be a live sound engineer to figure out how to EQ the speakers thanks to the built-in Contour EQ switch that can help adjust for those situations where you need an EQ alternative for recorded music playback. When you're connecting everything, the Truesonic's dual XLR/combo inputs make easy work of your setup and each speaker's independent level controls give you the flexibility to dial everything in your way in seconds.
Full metal grille You can never be too safe around the stage. We know stuff happens that you just can't predict. Sometimes it's the flying drumstick, a falling mic stand or worse. Every Truesonic speaker comes with a complete front grille from top to bottom that protects not only your low frequency driver, but your high frequency driver as well. With Truesonic speakers, you get extra peace of mind knowing that whatever comes at your sound system, we've got it covered, literally.
The Truesonic Wireless TS112W and TS115W are two-way 12” and 15” models respectively. With 800 watts of Class D power and an SPL of 125 dB for the TS112W and 126 dB for the TS115W, the speakers offer more power and performance than any other loudspeaker in their class. Both are perfect for musicians, bands, DJs, live sound reinforcement engineers and also for those who manage bars, clubs, schools, gyms or houses of worship.
Connect your way The Truesonic Wireless line simplifies the connection to multiple devices with the ability to play audio from any Bluetooth audio-equipped device such as an iPad, iPod touch, iPhone, even a laptop computer. In addition, both TS112W and TS115W include two Mic/Line Female XLR - 1/4” combo inputs with independent gain controls, so it’s easy to get up and running with just about any audio source. The Truesonic Wireless series utilizes Bluetooth and the Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP). A2DP allows for wireless transmission of stereo audio streams from a Bluetooth A2DP-capable source device (Cell Phone, Tablet Computer, Lap top computer, etc.)
Truesonic Wireless loudspeakers use an advanced, extended-range Bluetooth antenna design, allowing for ranges far greater than traditional Bluetooth devices. The typical range is 60-80 feet (18-24 meters) with a clear line of sight. However, the range may vary depending on your source device and the environment.
To maximize the range:
Set your source device on a flat surface and make sure there are no obstacles between the loudspeaker and your device (e.g., walls, furniture, etc.).
Turn off your source device’s Wi-Fi.
Turn off any unneeded 2.4 GHz devices in the nearby vicinity (e.g., other Bluetooth devices, baby monitors, Wi-Fi access points, microwave ovens, etc.).
Try using a different Bluetooth source device. Bluetooth signal strength varies between different devices
The fan operates as needed to control the internal temperature of the amplifier. There are component tolerances which cause small variations from unit to unit. It is normal for a unit at room temperature to have the fan spin slowly, or not at all, or to stop and start. It is normal for this to vary slightly from unit to unit. It has no impact on the performance of the product.
In order to establish a unique, 1:1 connection between two Bluetooth A2DP enabled devices, those devices need to first scan for other compliant devices. Pairing is the process that that binds your Bluetooth A2DP capable audio source device to your Truesonic Wireless loudspeaker.
When setting up the Bluetooth connection, choose only one loudspeaker to ‘Pair’ with your source device, i.e. phone, tablet or laptop. It can be either speaker. This speaker will be known as the ‘Master’.
After each loudspeaker is ‘Linked’, the Master will split the received stereo channels into Left and Right signals. The Left channel will be output by the Master (Paired unit) and the Right channel will be output by the ‘Slave’ (Linked) unit.
Note: When the two loudspeakers are linked, you can only pair your source device to the master loudspeaker. The slave loudspeaker’s PAIR BUTTON will be disabled; if you press it, you will hear 3 rapid “beeps” to indicate that the button is “locked out.”
No. If you only have one Truesonic Wireless loudspeaker, just pair it to your Bluetooth device and play music. In this instance, both the left and right channels will be output together as a mono signal.
Yes. Below and to the left of the STEREO LINK BUTTON, there is a small opening that exposes a recessed level control. This potentiometer controls the volume of the pairing/linking tones. This is pre-set to an optimal volume by default, but you may use a small, flathead jeweler’s screwdriver to adjust it from -8 dB to +10 dB. (Turning it clockwise increases the volume; counter-clockwise decreases it.) To return it to the factory setting, turn it until it you feel the center detent at the 12 o’clock position.
Yes. Once pairing is complete, the Truesonic Wireless loudspeaker will remember your device even after a power cycle. To reconnect, go to your device’s Bluetooth settings page, find “Alto Pro Wireless” and select to reestablish the connection.
Yes. Truesonic wireless loudspeakers will remember their linking settings even after they are powered off. When you turn the loudspeakers back on, they will automatically reconnect to each other. Once the connections are re-established between the loudspeakers, the LEDs next to the STEREO LINK BUTTONS will light continuously.
To erase all previous pairing and linking settings, press and hold either the PAIR BUTTON or the STEREO LINK BUTTON for 3 seconds. You will hear a long tone to confirm its pairing and linking settings have been erased. The LEDs will also turn off. Do this on both the master and the slave loudspeakers. Now, you can pair to a new source device or link the loudspeakers again.
If the connection is lost between the loudspeakers, or between the loudspeaker and the Bluetooth audio source device, and if they do not reconnect automatically, then power-cycle both loudspeakers and allow them to reconnect. Once the connections are re-established between the loudspeakers, the LEDs next to the STEREO LINK BUTTONS will light continuously.
The Truesonic Wireless speaker does not have the HSP (headset) or HFP (handsfree) Bluetooth profile built into it. Thus, if you are streaming audio from your mobile phone and then a call comes in, most devices will quickly fade out (mute) the music until the call has been pushed to voicemail or terminated.
To prevent incoming calls from muting the music, users should first activate airplane mode prior to Bluetooth usage. Then, turn on the Bluetooth radio in the phone, and pair it to the speaker(s). This order disables all internal radios while permitting Bluetooth A2DP streaming. Most smartphones let you enable each individual radio one at a time if you desire.
Yes. For iOS, go to Settings/General/Accessibility/Mono Audio. Change Mono Audio from ‘off’ to ‘on’. The device will now broadcast a mono signal (2 channels down to 1) to the Truesonic Wireless speaker.
